In this tutorial, we’ll learn how to add inventory or stock in the AuxWall Gym Management application.

Step 1: Types of Inventory

You can add two types of inventory:

• Stock Items: Tangible products like protein powder, water, yoga mats, and more.
• Non-Stock Items: Services like gym memberships, personal training, and kickboxing classes.

Step 2: Adding a Stock Item

1. A. Click on the 'Account' tab in the dashboard.
2. B. Select the 'Stock Item' tab.
3. C. If any stock items have been previously created, their details will appear here.
4. D. To add a new stock item, click the 'Create New' button. A form will appear where you can enter the product name, unit of measure, and select the appropriate account.
5. E. Enter a product description if applicable.
6. F. Check the 'Item Type' checkbox if the product is item-based (e.g., tangible products).
7. G. If the item is currently available, check the 'Opening Stock' box. This will prompt fields for quantity and unit price.
8. H. Fill in the details and click 'Save'. The item will then appear in the stock list.

Step 3: Adding a Non-Stock Item

1. A. Click on the 'Account' tab in the dashboard.
2. B. Select the 'Non-Stock Item' tab.
3. C. If any non-stock items have been previously created, their details will appear here.
4. D. To add a new non-stock item, click the 'Create New' button. A form will appear where you can enter the service name or product type, unit of measure, and select the appropriate account.
5. E. Enter a description if applicable.
6. F. Uncheck the 'Item Type' checkbox if the product is service-based (e.g., membership or classes).
7. G. After filling in the necessary details, click 'Save'. The item will then appear in the non-stock item list.

Step 4: Updating Inventory

To update inventory information, double-click on the data entry you want to edit. A popup will appear, allowing you to modify the inventory details. After making changes, click 'Save' to confirm your updates.
